I have questions about renting a car with British Rental in Salisbury UK on April 17

How far is the car pickup from the train station in Salisbury? Second question, we will have 3 adults, 1 child and our backpacks we will need to leave in the car at times, so what car is best for us? And how early can we pick up a car in the morning as our train should arrive by 8:30?
